I have occasionally thought about writing about Swagbucks, but have always stopped myself because I think everybody know about Swagbucks already. However, when I mentioned to my friends at the gym that I was going to trade my Swag Bucks in for Amazon.com Gift Cards so I could buy more books for my Kindle they looked at me like I was from speaking a foreign language. How my friends, who I talk to regularly, do not know about Swagbucks is beyond me! They didn’t bring pen and paper with them to yoga, so I told them I would send them an email with the details.
Then I started thinking that if my IRL friends didn’t know about Swagbucks, then perhaps some of my online friends didn’t either.
So in case you have not heard about Swagbucks, this is how it works:
Install the toolbar.
When you need to search for something, search using your Swagbucks toolbar.
You randomly earn points for searching on things. (Even odd things like an “edible solar system”).
When you have 450 Swagbucks, you can redeem them for a $5.00 amazon.com gift card. You can save those gift cards toward Christmas, a new blender or if you are impulsive like me, you can redeem them immediately for Kindle books.
More info about Swagbucks:
There are other ways to earn swagbucks. For example, you can earn swagbucks by answering polls or watching videos, but I rarely do those things. However, if you are building a farm or waging a war online, you probably have time to earn swagbucks through some of the other methods. 😉
You don’t have to redeem your swagbucks for amazon.com gift cards. There are lots of other options, but I have always stuck with the amazon option to feed my Kindle book addiction.
And Friday, is Double Swagbucks Day, so people earn more swagbucks when they search on Fridays. So register today and start earning Swag Bucks! Click Here to sign up.
