It does not even occur to me to look in the veggie bin anymore, I just go straight to the garden with a colander to pick what I want for dinner. If only I had looked I could have chopped the onion and broccoli up and put them in the freezer for future use.
The only store bought vegetables I have left are carrots, potatoes, and celery. I am not growing any of those, so hopefully I will remember to use them up.

Thanks for your encouragement! And it did go into the compost pile, so it will add to the next year's garden:)
I agree everything tastes fantastic from the garden, even things you don't normally spend a lot of time thinking about like onions and radishes.

Isn't it fab when we can get most of our food from the garden – it's so inspiring and tastes out of this world.
Well done on your food waste; it's minimal in the grand scheme of things 🙂
