10 Great Chia Seed Recipes including chia seed pudding, chia seed muffins, chia seed jam, chia seed popsicles, and chia seed nutrition information.

Chia seeds are a superfood and many people are looking for ways to add them into their diet these days. It’s no wonder since chia seeds are full of nutritional goodness such as magnesium, fiber, protein and even calcium. They are also filled with antioxidants.

Chia seeds have been around for a while and have been used as far back as the Aztecs and Mayans. They can be found in just about any store now because of their popularity. I have even seen them at some big-box stores. You can also buy them in bulk at many health food stores. They are a frugal way to boost your health and nutrition. If you are looking to add more superfoods to your diet, chia seeds are a good way to go. Here are 10 great chia seed recipes to get you started.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
