Italian baked salmon steaks recipe

You can enjoy all the nutritional benefits of salmon with this recipe for salmon steaks. Salmon steaks are thicker than fillets and deliver richer, more intense flavor. The Italian marinade infuses the meat with the savory, aromatic herb flavors, while the paprika gives it a slight sweetness and pleasant color.

The marinade comes together quickly thanks to the convenience of prepared Italian seasoning. The fish only needs to marinate for an hour before you pop it into a preheated 375-degree oven. In less than 30 minutes, you’ll have moist, tender salmon ready to put on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
