Don’t head into summer without a cocktail game plan. We go a cocktail that will knock your socks off and make you feel like the summer will never end. Try our Blackberry and Lemon Drop Chiller. It is an ice-cold dream come true! It’s got sweet ripe, blackberries, bright citrusy lemon, and let’s just say it’s cold enough to make ice cubes envious! Yep, it’s gonna be your icy-and-oh-so-sweet summer fling!

And with a little prep work, which can be done hours, days or weeks ahead of time, this cocktail recipe is a snap! The main ingredient is our homemade blackberry simple syrup with fresh blackberries.

Blackberry and Lemon Drop Chiller Recipe

Blackberry Simple Syrup Ingredients:

  • 15 fresh and ripe blackberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Blackberry Simple Syrup Directions:

1. Place a saucepan over med-high heat and add water and sugar.
2. Stir until the mixture is no longer cloudy.
3. Add the rinsed blackberries and mash and break them apart with the tines of a fork to release the fruit juices. Allow the mixture to come to a boil for 2-3 minutes.
4. Remove saucepan from direct heat and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Allow the simple syrup to steep for 10 minutes.Blackberry and Lemon Drop Chiller- blackberry syrup recipe

5. Strain the blackberry simple syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a clean Mason jar.
6. Cover with a lid and store in the fridge until you’re ready to use it.

Blackberry and Lemon Drop Chiller Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce berry flavored vodka
  • 1-ounce lemon vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces blackberry simple syrup
  • 1- 1 1/2 ounces top off with Sanpellegrino Limonata
  • lemon wheel and fresh blackberries for garnish
  • ice

Blackberry and Lemon Drop Chiller Directions:

  1. Into a cocktail shaker add berry vodka, lemon vodka, blackberry simple syrup, and ice.
  2. Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  3. Fill a standard rocks glass halfway with fresh ice.
  4. Pour cocktail into the glass 3/4 full.
  5. Top off with Sanpellegrino Limonata.
  6. Serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce berry vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces lemon vodka
  • 2 ounces blackberry simple syrup

Instructions

  • Into a cocktail shaker add Smirnoff Red, White & Berry vodka, lemon vodka, blackberry simple syrup, and ice.
  • Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Fill a standard rocks glass halfway with fresh ice.
  • Pour cocktail into the glass 3/4 full.
  • Top off with Sanpellegrino Limonata.
  • Serve.
