Beth shares some excellent reasons for making ice-cream at home including “None of the ingredient names will be six syllables long”. Another advantage is that you can make delicious flavors like Rhubarb Custard Ice-Cream. I agree with Beth, “It just sounds good; like spring-time in a cone”.
These delicious Avocado Fudgsicles are made with avocado, cocoa, vanilla, honey and almond milk. Making them a healthy alternative to store bought fudgesicles and diary-free. Laureen says, “They really do taste good. You can’t detect the taste of the avocado unless you know it’s in there and you are really looking for it”.
The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. Although April and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and we know our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Off to check out Aunt B’s Rhubarb Custard Ice Cream. Not sure how I missed that from last week

Thank you so much for the feature. I mentioned it in my News of the Day today, together with an invitation to visit the Gallery. 🙂 I appreciate the opportunities to share my recipes here.
Today I’ve linked a recipe for Welsh Cake, made with dried cranberries and apricots. This cake has a long tradition in Wales, and in my family too. Enjoy.
