Jump to RecipeEntertaining doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive. I like to create simple, yet delicious recipes like my Baked Jalapeno Popper Dip when throwing a party. Creating simple dip recipes ensures that the dish will be a success and reduces the stress I feel as the hostess organizing a party.
One of my favorite dips to make for holiday parties is my Jalapeno Popper Dip recipe. It has all the great flavors of Jalapeno Poppers, but it is a lot easier to make. Instead of hand-stuffing jalapeno peppers, you whip up all the ingredients, bake it in a pie dish, and serve it as a dip.
I reduced the prep time for this jalapeno popper dip by using Kraft Mexican Cheddar Jack cheese. Since the cheese was already a blend of my favorite cheeses to use in Jalapeno Popper Dip, cheddar and Monterrey Jack, I saved time by not having to shred cheese.
Can you make jalapeno popper dip ahead of time?
Yes, you can make this jalapeno popper dip ahead of time. Place the ingredients in the pie dish, then cover it the dish with foil, and refrigerate until 25 minutes before you are ready to serve. Then remove the foil, place in a cold oven, set the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 25 minutes. You place the dish in the cold oven to prevent the pie dish from being damaged during the transition from a cold refrigerator to a hot oven.

This dip actually isn’t hot since you remove all the seeds from the peppers.
