Beef Rice with Peas Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups beef broth (Here’s how to make your own beef broth. I freeze it in 1 cup increments).
- 2 cups Minute Brown Rice
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 4 basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 cup fresh peas, shelled and rinsed
- dash of pepper
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan over high heat.
- Once it begins to boil, cover with lid, turn heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 3 -4 minutes.
