Here’s a quick easy recipe for beef rice (flavored with beef broth) with peas and seasonings.  It’s a one-pot recipe and it uses Minute Brown Rice to keep it easy.

Beef Rice with Peas Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups beef broth (Here’s how to make your own beef broth.  I freeze it in 1 cup increments).
  • 2 cups Minute Brown Rice
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 4 basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup fresh peas, shelled and rinsed
  • dash of pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan over high heat.
  2. Once it begins to boil, cover with lid, turn heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for 3 -4 minutes.
This recipe is easy, fast, and delicious.

Ingredients

Ingredients
