10 Free Sundress Patterns and Tutorials for Girls

Let’s start off with something absolutely adorable for the wee little ones. This Strawberry Sundress with Bloomers from the Tip Toe Fairy is just the cutest thing ever! It makes me almost want to have another baby just so I can make this for her!

If you are looking for something simple to make that has a lot of sizes in the pattern, check out this cute Racerback Sundress from Crafterhours! It is cute and casual and would look adorable with leggings when the weather turns cool again. The pattern goes from infant sizes all the way through 8 yrs.

For a bit of retro flair, check out this adorable Vintage Sundress from We All Sew. It looks cute on any size and would even be good for something as nice as an outdoor wedding or family portraits!

This Girls Maxi-Dress Tutorial from Kojo Designs looks easy to follow and can be made in any size. It looks like the perfect cute and comfortable summer dress for little girls.

While the Shutt Dress from HER Little World is one of the more complicated dress patterns on this list, when you look at it, you will see why I included it. It is one of the most fun and unique patterns I have ever seen for a sun dress! The ridge on it reminds me of a bunting at a birthday party!

This Ruffle Dress Tutorial from Sugar Bee Crafts is easier than you’d think and the result is adorable and fancy enough for a party or holiday outfit! The tutorial walks you through making a pattern that will fit your little girl, so you can make it in any size.

Babies look sweet in ruffles but so do toddlers and pre-schoolers, and this Fluttery Sweet Sundress by Delia Creates is right up that alley! The dress is a simple silhouette pattern with a fun top.

The Girl’s Halter Top Sundress by sewVery is kind of a mix of different dresses all in one. It is a simple circle skirt mixed with a pillowcase dress top and if you can do both of these, you can make this dress.

Out of all the dresses on this list, this one is my very favorite. There is something so sweet and adorable about the tie back on it. Check out why I love the Shirred Summer Dress with Tie Back Bow by Make it & Love it!

The last dress on the list is perfect for anyone who is just learning to sew! It is casual and great for playtime! Check out the Popover Sundress by Oliver + S and get started on making this simple sundress.

Are you looking for a dress for your little one? This Maxi Dress for Girls from Life is Sew Daily is the perfect size! If you know how to adjust patterns, this would be a cute mommy-and-me set!

Which one of these cute dresses do you hope to get started on soon? I would love to know!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
