Are you planning a party for a Hunger Games fan? Here are 10 awesome Hunger Games Birthday Party Ideas to use for your planning!

My daughter is obsessed with the Hunger Games book and movie series. She is only 12, but reads at a high school level and has since about 5th grade. I am so proud that she can read so well. Her birthday just passed and although I would have loved to have done a Hunger Games birthday theme for her, I was not able to this year. I have faith that she will still want something similar next year as it’s all her and her girlfriends talk about. While I was looking into the possibility of doing a Hunger Games birthday party, I came across so many great ideas and I wanted to share them here with you in case you are also considering it. I hope you get some great ideas from the 10 hunger games birthday party ideas on this list.

Sophie’s World offers some tutorials and crafts to do for your party such as these bows, arrows and quivers.

Make this Trackerjacks popcorn snack from Teen.com for a great party pick me up.

For a great party favor to send home with everyone, make these DIY Hunger Games Canvas bags from Show Me Cute.

I love these DIY Hunger Games Parachute decorations from Rae Gun Ramblings. These really would set the mood. The banner she has is great, too!

These Hunger Games Sugar Cookies are easy to make and really awesome. They come from Fictional Food.

These Hunger Games Mockingjay Bracelets make perfect low cost party favors to include with guest bags when they go home.

Sarah Marie Photography has a cute idea of making Nightlock Punch. It looks delicious!

Diamonds for Dessert has a really great set of tutorials on how to make these fabulous Hunger Games Cupcakes, they are pretty easy to figure out if you do any sort of cake decorating.

Making this list really makes me excited to throw a Hunger Games themed party sometime soon. When is the one you are planning going to take place? Let me know in the comments!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
