This 30 Minute Speed Cleaning Schedule is perfect for getting your house clean fast and efficiently on days when you don't have a lot of time to clean.

Who has the time to clean their home? With everything else there is to do in life, spending an entire day sprucing up your space may be out of the question. Instead, take a look at this easy to follow 30 minute speed cleaning schedule. This 30 minute speed cleaning schedule is great to follow if you want to clean your home fast and efficiently. Whether you have unexpected guests dropping by or just other things you rather do, this 30 minute speed cleaning schedule is perfect for getting the job done. Take a look at how to get started.

30 Minute Speed Cleaning Schedule

Step 1: The quick pick up.

Take a laundry basket and go around the house for a quick pick up. Place any item that is out of place in the basket. This can be shoes that are in the kitchen, children’s toys in the family room, or any other item that may need to be returned to its home. Set the basket aside for sorting later.

Total time: 7 minutes

Step 2: The trash haul.

Spend the next three minutes throwing any garbage away. Candy and food wrappers, napkins, etc. can all add up. Spend a few minutes with a trash bag throwing any items that can be discarded into the trash and quickly taken outside to the garbage.

Total time: 3 minutes

Step 3: The scrub down.

Now that trash and clutter is gone, it is time for a scrub down. Use an all purpose cleaner and a sponge or towel to get down to business. Wipe down counters, sinks, tubs, mirrors, end tables, coffee tables, and any floor stains you see.

Total time: 10 minutes

Step 4: Floor time fun.

Now it is time to focus on the floors. Take a few minutes to vacuum carpeted areas, and run a Swiffer over hard surface areas. Take a Magic Eraser to quickly wipe away any stubborn spots.

Total time: 7 minutes

Step 5: Refreshing finish.

Light a candle to freshen the air, spray furniture with a fabric refreshing spray, and sprinkle some baking soda in any musty or stale areas. This finish will really pull your cleaning spree together and help things feel fresh.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
