If you are juggling too many things, you probably could benefit from one of these apps to help you manage your schedule.
Does it seem like you never have time to do all the things you need to accomplish in a day? If you have said no to everything you can and still find yourself struggling to get through a single day, it may be time to call in for some help. For me, this often comes in the form of apps as I navigate my days. I have tested out some of the best apps for time management and here are some of my favorite apps to help you manage your schedule better.
6 Apps to Help You Manage Your Schedule Better
Cozi– This App is excellent if you are trying to manage many different household member’s schedules. It offers color coding for each family member and syncs up with their devices, too so everyone is on the same page. Cozi is available for android and ios as well as on the computer making it super easy to use. Plus, I occasionally get partner discounts.
2Do-I am a self-confessed list maker. 2Do is the perfect app for people like me because it is basically a way to organize your to-do lists and sync them up with all of your other devices. I like it because it helps you organize tasks as well, such as grocery shopping. It allows me to quickly add items I need to my list. I like to think of it as an app within an app.
TaskRabbit– Sometimes improving time management means simply making more time. This includes asking for help when you need it. TaskRabbit is an app that allows you to quickly find help with things like housecleaning, grocery shopping, minor home repairs, food delivery, or even moving. The prices are reasonable and although the ‘taskers’ (those chosen by the company to do the jobs) are not available everywhere yet, it’s worth a shot to see if you can get some help once in awhile.
30/30– This app is perfect for those of us that waste a lot of time trying to get too much done or stuck in perfectionism so we never really move forward. I would say I definitely fall into both categories. It is a simple app that allows you to set a time for a task and then a timer to give yourself a break for that same amount of time. It works best for simple tasks like cleaning, answering emails, or doing quick online tasks. For instance, you could set a timer to do 15 minutes of email cleanup and then it will remind you when it’s time to switch tasks. This has become a huge help for me when it comes to time management and scheduling.
HomeRoutines – According to the website, this is the perfect app for scheduling out ‘repeaty things’. In other words, this app will help you schedule in stuff like routine household chores, shopping, etc. Use the app to set up reminders for these tasks each week and find that it helps you create habits out of them so they take less time in your day.
Due – The Due app will help you if you do better when tasks are organized into categories of urgency. Plug in tasks that need to be done and mark them as due on a certain day or make them urgent. This will help you create a more efficient schedule based on when tasks need to be completed.
