Workout Music to Keep You Motivated- These music suggestions are just what you need to take on your next workout and keep your momentum through to the end!

You’ve decided that exercise is now going to be a part of your daily life, but you are just lacking motivation to make it through your workouts. One of the best ways to keep momentum is to use music. Here are some great suggestions for Workout Music to Keep You Motivated. Not only is the list eclectic for just about any persons preferences, they are all great songs that will get your body moving and help you forget how long you’ve been on the elliptical.

Workout Music to Keep You Motivated

Download the latest American Idol soundtrack.  If you’ve watched the show in the past, you know there are great voices and tons of talent out there just wanting to be heard. Every year they put out a post production album that will knock your socks off. Most of the tunes are up beat and perfect for a great steady workout mix.

Go old school with Bands like Bon Jovi and The Rolling Stones. You don’t have to declare you “can’t get no satisfaction” from your workout. Cue up your favorite rockers from years past and let them push you to your limit.

Embrace heavy metal. Sometimes you just need “angry music” to make you push through that last set or final ten minutes on a machine. Nothing works better than great tracks by Metallica, Tool, and other heavy hitters in the music industry.

Get your praise on. Those just aren’t your style? Check out some of the latest praise and worship music by popular contemporary Christian artists. Not only will it uplift your spirits, but it will distract you from the pain burning in your calves toward the end of your workout.

Pink is always good for workouts. No list could ever be complete without Pink. Not only is the gal spunky, her music is almost always super fast paced and upbeat. Grab any of her albums and pump up the volume for a high energy workout solution.

Check out gym mixes on apps like Pandora and Spotify. If all else fails you can easily check out the workout or gym mixes on popular apps like Pandora or Spotify. Ask your friends and family what their favorite station is and check them out on your next workout.

Just because you don’t enjoy the exercise aspect doesn’t mean you can’t get through your workout easily. Using some of this workout music to keep you motivated is a great way to get your mind occupied so you don’t lose steam and stop before your time is up.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
