Being that I am the mother to girls, I have a soft spot for little girls in cute costumes. My daughter has been so many things for Halloween, but she was never been any of the classics like a princess or witch. She has always liked to do something out of the box. That meant finding some DIY costume ideas for girls since what she always wanted to be was something other than the usual. The last year she went trick or treating, she was Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. One of my favorite costumes she went as was a giraffe, and although that was store bought, she looked absolutely adorable in it as a two year old.
If you are looking for some homemade costume ideas for your little girl, here are 20 DIY Halloween Costumes for Girls to inspire you to get creative.
