Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats Recipe - A fun fall dessert idea.

These candy corn Rice Krispie treats are a fun fall treat to make with kids.

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

These candy corn Rice Krispie treats are actually easy to make by placing the different colored Rice Krispie mixture into a deep pie dish. When you slice it like a pie you instantly have candy corn inspired treats. This is a fun treat for fall parties.

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 3/4 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • Orange and yellow food coloring
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons softened butter

Directions:

1. Heat 1 cup of miniature marshmallows and 1/2 tablespoon of butter in the microwave for 30-45 seconds and mix in 1 1/4 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

2. Spray the outside of 2 sandwich bags lightly with a nonstick cooking spray, place the bags on your hands, used to mold the white Rice Krispies into a ball and place in the center of a lightly greased pie pan.

3.  Heat 2 cups of miniature marshmallows and 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave for 1 -2 minutes, mix in a few drops of yellow food coloring and mix in 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

4. Use the sandwich bags to mold the yellow Rice Krispies around the white center.

5. Heat 2 1/2 cups of miniature marshmallows and 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave for 1 -2 minutes, mix in a few drops of orange food coloring and mix in 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

6. Use the sandwich bags to mold the orange Rice Krispies around the yellow Rice Krispies and carefully press the treats down into the pan.

Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
