Witch's Broom Halloween Treats

These Reese’s witches broom Halloween treats are made with Reese’s mini peanut butter cups and chocolate covered pretzel sticks. They make a fun dessert for Halloween parties. These witch’s broom treats are quick and easy to make. They are so simple to make that you can make them with your kids, but be sure to have extra candy and pretzels because some is sure to go missing while they help you.

Witch’s Broom Halloween Treats Recipe

Ingredients

  • Milk Chocolate Candy Melts
  • Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Pretzel Sticks

Ingredients for witch's broom Halloween treats

Directions:

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate candy melts for 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir until completely melted and smooth.

Dip pretzel sticks into the melted chocolate until it’s covered. Where’s you’re holding the pretzel doesn’t have to be covered in chocolate because that’s where you’ll be sticking it in the Reese’s.

Lay the chocolate covered pretzel sticks on the cookie sheet and let dry and harden. You can speed up the hardening process by placing the cookie sheet in the refrigerator or freezer.

How to make witch's broom Halloween treats

Unwrap the mini Reese’s and place them on a plate upside down.

Stick the chocolate-coated pretzel sticks in the middle of the Reese’s.

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
