Keto Dinner Rolls Recipe

A low-carb diet doesn’t mean you have to give up bread completely… just adjust, like with this delicious Keto Dinner Rolls Recipe that gives you the bread you have been craving minus all the carbs!

One thing that people think you have to miss out on with the Keto diet is bread products, well guess what? You don’t!  Give this Keto Dinner Rolls Recipe a try and you will never again wish for the other stuff!  The batter is made with mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, almond flour, and egg. Then the rolls are brushed with butter and dusted with garlic powder for loads of flavor.

Keto Dinner Rolls Recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Almond Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ¼ tsp Xanthan gum
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Large egg
  • Melted butter for brushing on the finished rolls
  • Garlic powder for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place the mozzarella cheese and the cream cheese in a bowl that is microwave safe. Heat for 1-1 ½ minutes until the cheese is melted. Once melted and mixed thoroughly, transfer to a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, xanthan gum and a pinch of salt.
  4. Once combined, add 1 egg, and mix together well.
  5. Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the dough, cut it into 8 equal pieces, roll into the shape of a rounded ball, and bake them on parchment paper for 12 minutes.keto dinner roll recipe
  7. Remove the rolls from the oven, brush the tops with melted butter, and sprinkle on a dusting of garlic powder. Return to the oven for another 2 minutes.
  8. Remove, and serve warm with melted butter, or cool, and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
