We’re making this spicy sausage gravy recipe with mushrooms in an Instant Pot. So no skillet needed. Plus, this ain’t your grandma’s sausage gravy!

Here is a delicious recipe that will show you How to Make Sausage Gravy In an Instapot. Along with loads of mushrooms, this recipe has a spicy kick!

My sausage gravy deviates from the norm with the addition of a bit of spicy heat and a bucket full of chopped mushrooms. Nothing too extreme, right? See there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. The spicy heat comes from a quartet of peppers: a single jalapeño, a cubanelle, and a couple of young Anaheim peppers. Plus , I add a dribble or two of green habañero hot sauce. Now, don’t let the addition of peppers scare you off, because the end result is just a touch of heat infused into the creamy savory mushroom and sausage delight swirled magically together in the matrix of gravy. WHEW! Okay here we go. Look for the deets down below to find out the ways and means about how you too can make this wonderful dish.

The cool thing about making this Spicy Sausage Gravy with Mushrooms is that you can make it almost entirely in the Instant Pot. Here’s how I pulled it off.

Did you leave it on summer the whole time? The instant pot gets pretty intense, have you had burning issues? Just curious, I still make my gravy in a cast iron pan.
