Do you enjoy the sweet and savory combination of Candied Bacon? Then use this recipe to make a batch of Maple Brown Sugar Bacon.

Easy maple and brown sugar bacon recipe.

This candied bacon recipe is made by creating a glaze of maple syrup and brown sugar to coat the bacon strips. The bacon is cooked on a baking rack inside the oven. This recipe might sound fancy, but it only takes 3 ingredients and 15 minutes to make it.

Maple Brown Sugar Bacon Recipe

What you need:

  • Cookie sheet
  • Oven safe rack
  • Basting brush
  • Small bowl

Ingredients:

  • 16 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup 100% maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place your oven-safe rack or cookie cooling rack on your cookie sheet.
  3. Lay bacon out on the rack in a single layer.
  4. Mix maple and brown sugar together in a small bowl.
  5. Brush maple and brown sugar glaze mixture onto the top of each slice of bacon.
  6. Bake for 4-5 minutes until glaze begins to darken.
  7. Flip each slice of bacon over and smoothe a thick coat of glaze over the other side.
  8. Bake until bacon is cooked to your desired texture and glaze has thickened.
