It saddens and disgusts me when I see sites try to scam nice people with illegitimate freebies. If an offer seems to good to be true, it probably is! There are a lot of great freebies to be had, but there are also unscrupulous people out there who will use the lure of a fake free item for personal gain. So here is a list of resources to help you find great freebies without being scammed.
Protect yourself! If you like receiving freebies, only frequent legitimate sites. Check for a disclosure policy and a privacy policy. Make sure the privacy policy says that your information will not be given or sold to a third party.
Read all the offer’s terms before you click “I agree to terms”.
