Northern Nevada has some pretty fun Halloween pumpkin patches. Bring the kids out for some family-friendly fun that includes corn mazes, haunted houses, bounce houses, games, hay rides, pumpkin picking, and much more.

South Virginia, Reno – Toll House Pumpkin Patch
The Toll House Pumpkin Patch is a big production with lots of activities for the kids. Activities include the huge Child’s Garden bounce house, sliding structure, Caterpillar Crawl, a petting zoo, pony rides, train ride, hay fort, mini ATVs, haunted house, and lots more.
Date: Open October 1 through 31, 2015.
Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Rides close at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with rides closing at 8 p.m.
Location: 12185 S. Virginia Street in Reno
Fees: Tickets for the attractions are $1 each, with the number of tickets required varying for each activity. A book of 22 tickets is $20.

Mill Street, Reno – Ferrari Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
Ferrari Farms puts on a great Halloween event. There is a corn maze, bounce house, farm animals, hay rides, pumpkin patch, and a train ride. They also have pumpkins and squash for sale. You can even go out in the field and pick your own pumpkin.
Date: Open through October 31, 2015
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Mill Street in Reno, a block east of Rock Boulevard
Fees: Having a go in the corn maze is $5, with children under 2 free. Enjoying a hay ride is $3 per person and $10 per family (up to 5 people). The bounce house is $2 per child and pony every day through the 31st.

Spanish Springs, Sparks – Andelin Family Farm Pumpkin Patch
This Pumpkin Patch has a lot of extra fun. The Corn Maze is open Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a Haunted Corn Maze open from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on October, 17, 18, 23, 24, 30, 31, and November 1. The Andelin Family Farm Pumpkin Patch is located on a real working farm in the Spanish Springs area of Sparks. Part of the Corn Maze is a game called Farm Scene Investigation (Farmer Joe is missing). There are animals to visit, pumpkins to pick, and lots of activities for kids like an art barn, spider web climbing structure, hay bale maze, and little garden play area.
Date: Opens for 2014 on Saturday, September 27
Hours: Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Sundays and Mondays.
Location: The farm is at 8100 Pyramid Highway, about half a mile north of Lazy 5 Park.
Fees: $6 per person (kids under 1 are free) and includes the hayride. Pony and horse rides (Saturdays, holidays, fall break days) are $4 per ride. The Corn Maze is $4 per person in addition to regular admission or $6 as a separate activity.

Pyramid Way & Oddie Blvd, Sparks – Pumpkin Patch Harvest Festival & Craft Fair at Sparks United Methodist Church
The Sparks United Methodist Church will have a Pumpkin Patch with over 1000 pumpkins for sale, an indoor food court, and children’s activities. Bring the kids to enjoy carnival type games, hay rides, a haunted house, and craft activities. They will even have photo opportunities and music. In addition to the Pumpkin Patch, the Harvest Festival & Craft Fair is October 17th and 18th.

McLean Road, Fallon – Lattin Farms Corn Maze and Fall Festival
Lattin Farms is about 60 miles east of Reno/Sparks in Fallon, Nevada. The big attraction at Lattin Farms is a huge corn maze that has a different theme each year. There will be a pumpkin patch, hayride, Kids Korner, Goat Days, Scarecrow Factory, Crafters Market, Pumpkin Tower, and farm animals to visit. While visiting Lattin Farms, check out the produce stand and the Country Kitchen with Leanza’s Bakery.

Highway 395, Gardnerville – Corley Ranch Pumpkin Patch
Corley Ranch is located south of Carson City at 859 Highway 395 South in Gardnerville, Nevada. Corley Ranch will be hosting a pumpkin patch that includes, pig races, farm animals, bounce house, hay rides, a Kiddie Land, and straw maze. There will be entertainment and other activities like train and pony rides, a giant slingshot, and miniature golf. You can also buy pumpkins and visit food and craft vendors.
Date: Weekends, October 1st through October 31st
Hours: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: South of Carson City at 859 Highway 395 South in Gardnerville, Nevada
Fees: $6 adults, $5 for seniors and kids ages 3 to 17. Kids 2 and under are free. Train and Pony rides cost extra.
