Bubble wrap is fun to pop, but it has many practical uses around the house as well. Here are 10 Creative Uses for Bubble Wrap that you can try. So the next time you receive a package reuse it around the house instead of tossing it out.Do you find it hard to resist popping those tiny bubbles when come across a sheet of bubble wrap? Sure those bubbles are fun to snap, but did you know bubble wrap has a variety of other practical uses too? When we receive a package, I often let my kids play with it. But there are so many ways you can reuse bubble wrap besides popping it. The next time you find a sheet of bubble wrap, resist the urge to snap and give these 10 creative uses for bubble wrap a try!

10 Creative Uses for Bubble Wrap

1. Protect your plants.
If you live in an area where the threat of frost is present, protect your plants on chilly nights by covering them with bubble wrap. You can even wrap the outside of planters for the plants to wear like a coat.

2. Protect your walls.
Place a patch of bubble wrap on any wall surfaces that receive impact. An example would be behind the door where the handle often hits or behind a chair where the back of the chair often hits.

3. Make snow removal a breeze.
Place a sheet of bubble wrap on your windshield to protect it from snow and ice, so that when you are ready to leave, all you need to do is remove the sheet and go.

4. Cushion just about anything.
A layer of bubble wrap can make your sleeping arrangements while camping more comfortable. You can also place a layer on chairs that are otherwise too hard. It can sure help when you need to sit for a great deal of time!

5. Insulate any bag.
You can line any bag with bubble wrap to instantly insulate it. It will allow you to travel with cold foods and drinks while keeping them cold longer.

6. Create a sensory experience for kids.
Kids will love popping bubble wrap and it can actually strengthen their motor skills. Give them pieces to enjoy along with tools for popping. Chopsticks, forks, and other pick like devices are perfect. Let them pop away and have fun doing it!

7. Protect your groceries.
Place a lining of bubble wrap in the fridge on any shelving or drawers where delicate food items go.  Foods that bruise easily or break easily will benefit from the extra cushioning.

8. Keep the cold out.
You can use bubble wrap to cover and insulate windows just like you would with plastic wrap. Just press to the windows and apply tape to keep it in place.

9. Take it shopping.
It seems as though stores aren’t equipped to properly wrap your delicate purchases. Keep a sheet of bubble wrap with you so that when you buy breakables, you can properly package them up.

10. Create a gardening knee pad.
Lay a sheet of bubble wrap down while working in the garden. It will cushion and protect your knees as well as keep your pants clean.
