This Chicken and Greens with Tortellini Recipe is an easy one dish dinner.
Yesterday I had a craving for greens cooked in bacon drippings. I blame the craving on listening to country music while gardening.
I had planned to serve a Strawberry Spinach Salad and Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce, but I couldn’t get over my craving for greens. So I decided to try combining the spinach and tortellini to create a new main course. Although no bacon drippings were involved in the preparation of this dish it was surprisingly delicious.

can this be done in a crock pot?

I don’t know. I have never tried it in the crock pot because it comes together so quickly on the stove top.

This looks and sounds delicious! I'm definitely going to try this (once we get some greens growing in the garden – it's still almost too cold to plant anything here).
