We all love to save money, but sometimes saving money is a lot of work! Personally, I like to find ways that make saving money easy and stress free. One of my favorite ways to save money is by using apps on my tablet and my smart phone. I have found that this is an easy way for me to keep track of promotions, coupon codes and any other specials I come across. Whether you are using an iPhone, iPad, Android or any other device you can typically find some great apps to help you save money.
Today, I’m going to share my favorite money-saving apps with you.
Top Money Saving Apps:
Remember the Milk – This is an app that I use on a daily basis! I love that this app helps me save time and money. When I go grocery shopping, I tend to buy much more than I need if I don’t have a list. I always make a list before I go grocery shopping but I always forget the list at home. Since I started using Remember the Milk, I have never been at the grocery store without my shopping list. This app is available for iPhone and Android.

RetailMeNot – Anytime I’m getting ready to make any purchase , I always check RetailMeNot first. This is a great app to quickly browse coupons and discount codes. You even have the option of saving the discount code for a later date if you are not ready to buy just yet. However, you should keep in mind that the discount codes and coupons do have an expiration date. You can find codes for just about every major retailer, making this the perfect way to save money on everyday purchases.

SavingStar – If you use coupons to save money at the grocery store, then this is a must install app! SavingStar makes it easy to clip e-coupons. The coupons that you e-clip are automatically saved to your grocery store discount card. For every $5 you save, SavingStar transfers $5 to your PayPal, Amazon or bank account. SavingStar is one of my favorite apps because not only does it allow you to save money, but make money as well.

Gas Buddy – Gas prices are always on the rise and in some parts of the country we are hitting almost $4 a gallon! Gas is also one of hardest commodities to save money on. I have found Gas Buddy to be a huge help with it comes to saving money on gas. Anytime I going to get gas, I pull up my Gas Buddy app to see where the lowest prices are at. I have found that spending a minute or so looking up gas prices saves me between .10 and .20 cents per gallon!

Shop Savvy – If there is one thing that gets under my skin, it’s buying something only to find it for a better price at another store. When I find an item I want to purchase, I will spend so much time researching other stores to try to find the best deal. Thankfully, a friend introduced me to Shop Savvy! Shop Savvy allows you to scan the bar code of the item in question and will then tell you if you can get it at a lower price. I have saved a lot of money since I started using this app and I really think it’s going to come in handy this holiday shopping season.
