Easy Easter Egg Frame Craft - A Frugal Easter Decor Idea

It is time to get your space spruced up for Easter! Sure you could run out to your local home decor store or specialty boutique to grab a few pieces, but why not think about making your own instead? You don’t have to be super crafty to make your own easy Easter egg frame craft such as the one you see here. In fact, you can make one in just minutes and using a few simple supplies. Take a look at how to get started. This is such a cute and crafty project!

Easter Egg Frame Craft

Supplies needed:
Picture frame
Spray paint (optional)
Egg wands
Faux grass
Hot glue, glue gun

We found the picture frame in our garage and just added some white spray paint. Use an old frame you have on hand or snag one at your local thrift store. You can find the egg wands like we used here at your local dollar store, and faux grass such as the tufts we used were from our local Hobby Lobby. Our total cost for this project was less than $5.

Supplies for Easy Easter Egg Frame Craft

Directions:
1. Begin by painting your frame if needed. This step is optional if your frame is already the color you want.
2. Remove any inserts from your frame. You want the inside to be empty.
3. Turn your frame over so the back is exposed. Add a generous dab of glue to your faux grass and press it to the back/bottom rim of your frame.

4. Once your grass tufts are dry, you are going to add some glue to the egg wands. Attach them to the frame pressing firmly.

5. Now all you need to do is wait for your glue to dry and you are ready to display your egg frame.

In no time you will have an instant Easterscape displayed decoratively in your upcycled frame.

As you can see, this is such a fun and frugal Easter craft and one that adults can enjoy just as much as children. Gather your supplies and give it a try!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
