Owl Themed Fall Tablescape

It’s almost that time of year again and here are a few of my favorite things about fall:

• The leaves change colors
• The crunching of the leaves when you walk
• Football season
• You can wear boots and sweaters
• The kids go back to school

I also love the cooler weather, although it reminds me of what the next season will bring.

But before we talk about winter and snow, let’s chat about fall. I like to change the decor around my house every season and sometimes twice in the season. If you enjoy decorating your house this way or just looking for some great fall tablescape ideas, I have a cute one to share with you!

I love owls. And when I noticed these white owl plates at Pier 1, I knew they were made just for me.

Usually when I pull a table setting together, I start in the middle and work my out. This time, I started on the outside working my way towards the center.

I let the plates be my inspiration for this Fall Tablescape.

These owl plates are seriously adorable but a little on the smaller side. They will work as appetizer plates, salad or dessert plates.

I used basic white plates and linen chargers. I found the basic white plates at Kohls. The linen chargers were picked up at Hobby Lobby, but you should be able to find them anywhere.

I brought the owl plates a few months ago. Then one day while shopping at Home Goods I found two white owl vases. SCORE!

The table mats, napkins, and napkin holders were also picked up at Kohl’s.

I dug around in my decor closet and pulled out a ton of Fall decorations.

Tip: I buy my Fall decorations or any decorations AFTER the season is over. I was able to pick up $90 Fall decorations for just $8 bucks from Hobby Lobby.

The key is patience. You have to be willing to wait to get the best deals. Hobby Lobby and other stores will have deals going on during the season, but your BEST price will be right after the season is over. That’s when you will score items for 80-90% off. That’s my love language!

After putting this fall decor table together, we top it off with a fun White Cake with Candy Corn. I say we, meaning my husband and me. In our house, we have specific roles when it comes to entertaining: he cooks, and I make the table look pretty!
