This DIY Scarecrow Wine Glass Votive Holder is a great fall craft. It's an inexpensive way to decorate your table with a pretty tea light candle.

I love this Scarecrow Wine Glass craft!  It’s such a fun way to decorate a mantle, or even build a unique centerpiece for the fall season.  Even though it is a glass craft project, this wine glass craft is still a good idea for your kids to help create.

My favorite way to decorate for the seasons is to use things I already have on hand.  That’s where this fun Scarecrow Wine Glass Votive Holder came into play.  I love the idea that you can design your own scarecrow votive holder to be uniquely yours.  That means you can use the colors that work best for your Fall themed decor, or you can let your kids have fun designing their own unique scarecrow faces.

You can easily pick up some inexpensive glass or plastic wine glasses online or at your local dollar store.  For a craft like this, there is no need to pay a ton for specialty glasses. In fact, plastic may be a great option to make it a cost-effective craft.

This DIY Scarecrow Wine Glass Votive Holder is a great fall craft. It's an inexpensive way to decorate your table with a pretty tea light candle.

This fun Scarecrow Wine Glass Votive Holder is a great way to let your kids help you decorate your mantle or table for fall.  Since a scarecrow is a typical fall seasonal idea and not just Halloween or Thanksgiving, this is ideal for making early in the season and keeping on hand to decorate throughout the season.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
