Top 5 Organization Items for Small Spaces- If you live in a small space, staying organized is a must. These 5 items will improve storage and keep you sane!

If you live in a small space you know storage is prime real estate and staying organized is a must. If you don’t, your stuff can easily over take you before you know it! Besides the under the bed storage every ones goes to first, here are the Top 5 Organization Items for Small Spaces.  They will help keep you organized and sane, because no one wants to spend an hour or two looking for car keys.

Top 5 Organization Items for Small Spaces

  1. Let’s start in the bathroom. Even in the bigger places I have lived, the bathroom never seems to have enough storage or space and this couldn’t be truer about smaller homes. The best way I have found to maximize storage is to get a Pocket Shower Curtain. It’s double duty. You have your shower curtain, but now it now holds things like your brush, hair styling stuff, soap, towels, make up, and more. I do not suggest storing anything electric in this since it is so close to the water. This means no hair strainers, hair driers, etc. The bonus is that the pockets are clear and you can see everything at a glance!
  2. Next let’s talk clothes closets. I’m betting yours is overflowing as much as mine is, right? (Please say yes!) Then you need a simple trick to give you more space. These Magic Clothes Closet Hangers are a life saver! They stack your clothes giving you more space on your hanging rod.
  3. Now let’s talk kitchen space. I love to cook and eat at home, but I have also lived in a house with no pantry and very limited space for groceries. I ditched my spice shelf for Cabinet Door Spice Clips.
  4. This Stackable 3 Shelf Organizer is great for adding extra storage just about anywhere. It is small enough to use in corners. It would also make a great end table and night stand. Add some baskets and you have easy storage. You can also stack them to maximize your space.
  5. When you run out of floor space, head to the wall! You can find so many ways or organize your storage on your wall. You can use cork boards, paper files, and magazine racks. These Single Pocket Wall Files are great way to sort and store mail, work papers, bills, magazines, books, school work, office supplies, and more!

What are you favorite small store space items?

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
