You’ve probably heard the term “bucket list” and if you haven’t it’s simply a list of everything you want to do before you die. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to think about dying. I want to enjoy every moment of everyday. What better time to start than summer! This summer consider creating a “summer bucket list” as a way to ensure you have loads of fun all summer long.
You can print out summer bucket lists that have a ton of ideas on them or you can make your own. I like to look at other people’s summer bucket list ideas for inspiration but I’ve found that creating your own really helps to match your family.
Summer Bucket List Ideas
To get started you’ll want to come up with a list of things your family wants to do this summer. I aim for 50 to 100 “to do” items on my list. We don’t usually complete everything on the list but it’s great to have more suggestions than you actually need.
So what should you put on your summer bucket list? Well the options are really endless and it’s totally up to you. You can create a bucket list based on a theme or just general things your family wants to do over the summer months.

As you can see the number of things you can do with your family is endless. I’ve found that asking each family member to list ten to fifteen things they want to do over summer break, really helps to get the summer bucket list filled in. Coming up with everything on your own can be a daunting task, so don’t hesitate to reach out to your family.
