Spring is right around the corner! Which means I am going to want to wear sandals, but I have neglected my feet all winter long. Now I have some work to do to get them ready before we visit family in California. But just because I am going to have to put some time into repairing my feet, doesn’t mean I have to put a lot of money into it. I found a recipe for making a foot scrub at home using ingredients I already have on hand. You can see how Sandra from Sensible Mom creates her Homemade Peppermint Sea Salt Foot Scrub.

My feet never look great because I like to run, but I love the sound of this minty recipe.

Thank you for sharing this. I like that the foot scrub is made with all natural ingredients and it sounds very effective too.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
