I think sweet potato fries are one of those great compromise foods. My kids get to eat “fries” and I get to watch my children enjoy a vitamin rich vegetable! My kids love sweet potato fries. They will eat them just about any way that I cook them: plain, garlicky, spicy or coated with pumpkin pie spice.

We make our own fries. My parents always made homemade fries as well. They never bought the pre-made frozen ones from the store, so I did the same thing when I moved out. My husband is actually the fry maker in our house. Somehow his always turn out better than mine.
I think pumpkin pie spice on sweet potato fries sounds delicious. I really want to try this recipe. I think this would be a great after Thanksgiving side to go with the turkey-cranberry sandwich!

This is exactly how I got my husband to eat sweet potatoes too! Although I haven't tried it with pumpkin pie spice, usually just salt, pepper, and a little rosemary or thyme. Yum- I can eat sweet potatoes plain right out of the oven. Love.

Great idea! I make sweet potato fries, but I haven't tried using sweet seasonings. I've avoided them because my DH doesn't care for sweet/savory combinations; however, I just realized that he doesn't like sweet potato fries anyway! So I'll have to try this.
