Jojoba oil can make a wonderful addition to your health and beauty routine. Here are 10 Frugal Uses for Jojoba Oil in Your Beauty Routine

Jojoba oil is an oil derived from the jojoba plant, and it has many uses in your health and beauty routines. Available anywhere that essential and health and beauty oils are sold, jojoba can help you with some common beauty problems. To learn more, take a peek below at 10 frugal uses for Jojoba oil that you can try. You will find it is so easy to implement into your daily beauty routine!

10 Frugal Uses for Jojoba Oil in Your Beauty Routine

1. Make hair shine
Rub a few drops of jojoba oil between your palms and smooth over your hair. Take it from root to tip for an instant shine. You can even add a few drops to your hair brush so that it adds shine as you brush.

2. Clean the scalp
Apply a few drops of oil to the finger tips and give yourself a scalp massage. Massage the oil deep into the skin so it can get to work moisturizing and soothing the area. It can also stimulate the scalp which promotes hair growth as well as soothe scaly and flaky scalp.

3. Tame frizzy hair
Take a quarter size amount of oil between your palms and work it through frizzy and dry hair. Focus on the tips where the oil will help smooth the cuticles and tame hair. This works great for curly or textured hair.

4. Prevent hair loss and encourage growth
When you massage Jojoba oil into the scalp, it can help open up any clogged follicles. At the same time as mentioned above, the stimulation can encourage new hair growth.

5. Soothe acne spots
A drop or two of oil on acne flare ups can help soothe the flare up and allow it to clear up quickly. Jojoba oil is also an anti-inflammatory,  so you will notice a reduction in redness and swelling as well.

6. Fight fine lines
A little Jojoba oil on fine lines will help soften them which smooths them out and lessens their appearance.

7. Fight pores
Applying a dab of Jojoba oil to areas where pores are obvious can help minimize their appearance over time.

8. Use as a lip moisturizer
Get soft and supple lips when you apply a few dabs of oil as you would lip balm or chapstick. Use daily for noticeable results.

9. Remove make-up
Apply some Jojoba oil to a cotton ball and dab on make-up to remove it. It is especially powerful on stubborn eye make-up. While it removes make-up, it will also moisturize your skin.

10. Repair cracked heels
Apply Jojoba oil generously to cracked heels to moisturize and help heal them. You can also apply a little oil to any dry skin cracks to take away irritation, moisturize, and promote quicker healing.

As you can see, Jojoba oil can make a wonderful addition to your health and beauty routine. Grab a bottle for daily use and see what a difference it can make it in your skin, hair, and more.

Is jojoba oil ok for color-treated hair? Do you know if it will strip color?

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
