7 Ways to Safely Lose Weight Fast - If you are trying to lose weight, these tips can help you lose weight faster the healthy way.Everyone wants to lose weight, and these 7 ways to safely lose weight fast  are sure to help you. Yes, you can drop weight fast safely, but you have to accept that for optimum health, you should only lose 2-3 pounds per week. If you are much heavier to begin with, it is common to see upwards of 5 pounds lost per week. Losing 12-20 pounds a month can be considered healthy weight loss depending on your starting weight. For someone who only needs to lose 20 pounds to begin with, 1-2 pounds per week is safe and healthy. For someone who has 100+ pounds to lose, 3-5 pounds per week can be safe and healthy in the beginning. Regardless of your weight loss desires, never make changes to your diet or exercise routine without speaking to a physician first.

7 Ways to Safely Lose Weight Fast

Do a juice cleanse. Spending a few days or weeks getting all of your nutrients from juices can be a great choice for helping to jump start your weight loss. A juice cleanse will help your body eliminate toxins while still feeding you the calories and nutrients your body needs to thrive.

Increase exercise. If you’ve been working out for only 30 minutes a day 3 times a week, now is the time to boost that up. Increase the time spent working out or add more days to your weekly routine. Exercise will burn more calories which will result in you being able to safely drop weight fast.

Eliminate certain food groups. Sometimes there are trigger foods our body will hold onto and store as fat, or simply foods that aren’t satisfying but are dense in calories. Change your eating habits and eliminate things like empty calories (beverages), breads with no nutritional value, deep fried foods, excessive portions of meat, and things like candy and snacks that aren’t nutritionally sound.

Meal plan. When you plan what you will eat, it is easier to stick to your diet plan and stay within a healthy calorie range for your body to lose weight. Plan ahead for all meals and use freezer meals, Crockpot meals, or easy to follow menu plans that will give your body what it needs without being tough to put together.

Change your exercise routine. If you have been walking at the same incline for the last 4 years, your body isn’t working as hard any longer. Switch up your cardio exercise routine to boost your heart rate and burn more calories as a result.

Stop skipping breakfast. When you skip meals, your body thinks it is being deprived and instead of burning calories, it holds onto fat stores. Stop skipping meals, especially breakfast.

Eat 5 small meals per day. Instead of eating 3 large meals each day, switch it up to 5 small meals that will keep your body fueled throughout the day easily.

These crazy ways to safely drop weight fast aren’t anything too drastic nor dangerous, but will have amazing results when you put them into practice in your daily life.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
