Body Weight Exercises For Sculpting - Try these five body weight exercises for sculpting muscles to sculpt your arms, legs, core, and abs without equipment.

Cardio is a great way to exercise, but sculpting your body is just as important! It’s important to find good body weight exercises for sculpting your body so you can achieve fitness goals and work on areas that need improvement! Sculpting is a great way to treat your body to a great work out, even if you don’t have any equipment. Using your body weight can be just as powerful and you’ll thank yourself later.

Body Weight Exercises For Sculpting

Butt Lifts

These are very simple and a great way to work on your ab muscles! You simply lay down on the floor, pull your knees up as if you’re going to do crunches, and then lift your butt! You should feel your core tightening as you lift up giving a nice good work out to sculpt your abs. This is one of the best exercises for sculpting your abs – along with a healthy diet!

Lunges

You’ve probably done these before, but you’ll want to do a few sets of these to help sculpt your legs. As far as exercises for sculpting go, this is one of the best way to make sure your glutes and legs get toned! Try doing 3 sets of 10 or 15 lunges across a park to add some great leg sculpting to your work out!

Squats

Squats are known for providing a great workout for the glutes, but they’re also great for your core! If you use proper form (keeping knees over your toes, not hunching your back) and make sure to engage your core, you’ll achieve great results. It’s important to keep proper form with ANY exercises for sculpting, but especially these!

Burpees

These are one of the best exercises for sculpting there is! Burpees work almost every muscle in your body and are very simple to learn. You start by jumping up with your arms straight up in the air, then jump down into a frog position. The next step is to kick your feet back, putting you into a pushup position. Then do a pushup, bring your feet back in, and start again! They’re very tiring, but you’ll find that less is more with burpees. As long as you’re using the right form, you don’t need to do 100 to achieve results!

Pushups

Pushups are perfect for sculpting your arm muscles, which is great if you’re looking to get rid of any arm flab! There aren’t a ton of bodyweight exercises for sculpting your arms in comparison to other areas, so pushups are a staple in any bodyweight routine!

You can come up with a great workout routine using these bodyweight exercises for sculpting: in any order you want! Make sure you’re doing a set number of reps for these so you can keep track in case you ever decide to up the numbers. This is how you’ll measure progress!

Have you ever done bodyweight exercises before? What are your favorite ones to do?

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
