15 Fun Flower Crafts
After a long, cold winter it is almost time for spring! Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell mother nature. A lot of the United States is still covered in a thick blanket of snow and more storms are predicted. The snow has melted on our property, but we expect more before winter is through. Often we have some bulbs blooming in March, but not this year. We still don’t have any flowers blooming, but yesterday I did spot some blades of green as they started to break through the ground..
Desperate times call for desperate measures, so I have even tried to encourage spring to arrive a little earlier by starting my spring cleaning, but no luck. Since we don’t have any flowers yet, we are celebrating by making our own flowers. Kendall and I have collected fun and easy flower craft projects to help brighten our homes. These include a few home decor ideas like the Spring Wreath, some fun fashion ideas like hair bows, and some easy crafts for you and your children to enjoy, like paper flower crafts, as you count down the days until spring arrives.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
