How to Make Money Fall Cleaning- Making money fall cleaning can be easy, fun, and a great little side business. Here are 5 steps that will get you started.

Now that fall has arrived and the holidays are just around the corner, you might be looking for ways to make some extra money. Fall cleaning is a great way to earn some extra cash while providing a much needed service for others. Take a look at How to Make Money Fall Cleaning so you can help put a little extra dough in your pocket! It can be easy, fun, and a great little side business. Here is how you can get started.

How to Make Money Fall Cleaning

1. Identify the need.
Take a look around you and identify where there is a need for fall cleaning. Do you have friends who need their summer clothes stored away and their fall clothing organized? Do you see a neighbor who may need some exterior fall clean up? What about someone who needs some general household cleaning before the holidays hit? All of these are perfect areas to tackle. Once you identify where you are needed, you can see where to focus your energy.

2. Get the word out.
Create some inexpensive business cards or fliers for yourself that advertise your service. You can also place an announcement on your Facebook or social media pages. Let people know that you are now offering these fall cleaning services and how they can contact you. You will also want to have your rates available as well as availability on hand for reference.

3. Gather your supplies.
Be sure you have plenty of supplies on hand such as cleaning products, trash bags, rags, brooms, mops, yard tools, labels, etc. Most people you clean for will supply these items but having some on hand doesn’t hurt. A local discount store or dollar store is a great place to snag many of these items for less.

4. Start scheduling.
Allow yourself several hours for each job. Start slow, taking no more than 1 job per day or a few per week. This will give you the chance to really focus on the jobs and see how much you can take on. Clean homes, tidy up yard, and organize closets as if you were doing your own. Be thorough, thoughtful, and give it your all!

If you are having trouble finding clients, offer to do a session for a friend for free. Have the friend take before and after pics and share them with others on social media. This will help advertise your services and bring in some business.

5. Ask for referrals.
If someone is happy with your work, ask if they would refer you to friends. If they are unhappy, ask how you can improve. This will help you build a better, solid business!
It is easy to make money fall cleaning. Give these tips a try and in no time you will be up and running making your own cash and helping others at the same time!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
