Looking for a craft for the letter “D”? This Popsicle Stick Dragonfly Craft with Buttons is a fun one!Popsicle Stick Dragonfly Craft with Buttons- This fun and frugal dragonfly craft is a great way to teach kids about the letter D!
Here is the 4th in our series of crafts for each letter of the alphabet, Popsicle stick dragonflies. You can use this fun and frugal craft to talk about the letter “D” sound while decorating dragonflies. This craft is great for kids 3+, because not only do they get to design their own dragonflies, but then they can play with them. You can also use them as decorations or they could easily be made into magnets. Younger children will need help attaching the wings made from pipe cleaners, but would be able to make the rest of the dragonfly on their own. This is a very frugal craft, made with pipe cleaners, Popsicle sticks, and buttons, and comes together quickly.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
