Alright, now let’s get ready to stamp!

Directions:

  1. Begin by placing the red craft paint on a plate or in a dish for easy dipping.
  2. Dip the end of the wine cork into the paint. Try a few practice stamps on a piece of scrap paper. You might find that you need to wipe off some paint before you start dabbing.
  3. Next, start stamping the wine cork to the paper. Space some of the circles close together so they will look like a cherry cluster. So far, this is pretty easy right? Let’s keep going!Wine Cork Cherry Stamp Craft for Kids stamping
  4. Once the paint is dry, you can create the stems of your cherries. To craft these, you want to snip a green pipe cleaner into smaller segments. Bend the pipe cleaner into a gentle curve and add some glue to the back.
  5. Press the pipe cleaner to the cherry stamps. Allow them to dry.
  6. You can now repeat the process if you wish and create more cherries, or leave them as is. These wine cork cherry stamps are perfect for summertime boredom, to craft greeting cards, or to even decorate a poster board.

Optional: Once you get tired of red cherries, switch out the paint and make green or purple grapes using the same method.Wine Cork Cherry Stamp Craft for Kids final

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
