I have never met an Asian Chicken Salad that I haven’t loved, but this homemade Asian Salad Dressing recipe is my favorite to use on Asian Chicken Salad.

Homemade Asian Salad Dressing Recipe

It is easy to make Asian Chicken Salad at home. You do need to start with a delicious Asian Salad dressing though. I like to make my dressing from scratch because it gives me complete control over the ingredients and I can leave out the unnecessary fillers and preservatives. This homemade Asian dressing comes together in 5 minutes.

If you have to avoid gluten, use a gluten-free soy sauce substitute or coconut aminos to make this a Gluten-Free Asian Salad Dressing recipe.

Asian Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ⅓ cup mild oil ( I like avocado oil)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (use gluten-free soy sauce to make this gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 pressed garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Add rice vinegar, mild oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, honey, ginger, and sesame seeds to a cruet or a container with a lid. How to Make Asian Chicken Salad Dressing - Recipe and Tips. Use this to make Oriental Chicken Salad.
  2. Seal the container and shake vigorously to combine.
  3. Use as called for in your Asian Chicken Salad recipe.

You can use this to make a large Asian Chicken Salad or you can plate individual salads and serve the dressing on the side and allow each person to add it to their salad.
