This Chocolate Drop Cookies are perfect for Christmas cookie swaps!
It’s the most marvelous time of the year! It’s time for cookie swaps and taking goodie baskets to our neighbors and friends. I always enjoy baking, but there is just something a little magical about baking at the holidays. It is when I pull out all of the stops creating decadent, mouth-watering treats that will put a smile on the face of everyone who tries them.
This recipe starts with melting half a bag of DovePromises Dark Chocolate. They look as smooth and silky when they melt as they taste. The hardest part of making these cookies is not taking a spoon to that melted chocolate! Fondue anyone???
The other half of the bag of Promises is chopped up and added to the batter. Wait. The hardest part of making this recipe might be not nibbling on all of this deliciously rich dark chocolate while chopping it.

These have been on my Christmas cookie platters for many years. There aren’t any left after the entertaining has ended. Fairly simple to make too. These also freeze well.

This looks like a wonderful recipe. I am going to use it for part of my contribution for the cookie walk benefitting her high school choir. I like to keep things simple and dekicious for quantity baking.

These are my kind of cookie. If I made these cookies I don’t think I would have any left over for goodie baskets for the neighbors, I would eat them all of them.
