Quick and Easy Mango Salsa Recipe - no cooking and only 5 ingredients.

This mango salsa recipe comes together in 5 minutes and only uses 5 ingredients! Even better? There is no cooking required to make this fresh salsa.

Mango Salsa Recipe in a bowl and ready to top your favorite chips or southwest dish.

My kids love mangoes, so when they go on sale, I buy a lot… sometimes too many.  You can freeze mango pieces to use in smoothies. However, I really enjoy using mangoes in unique recipes. They add both a unique flavor twist and provide a natural sweetness to dishes.

This salsa is a delicious blend of sweet and savory! It is a fun appetizer to serve at a party. While this salsa goes well with chips, it is so tasty, that you will want to try it with other dishes.

I usually top my Caribbean Taco Salad with this Mango Salsa instead of salad dressing. My daughter recently suggested that we pair it with fish tacos (recipe coming soon!). When you are looking for ways to use this easy salsa recipe, think of the dishes you usually pair with salsa, but also think outside the box to come up with your unique combinations.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
