This Mason Jar Strawberry Crisp Recipe is an easy, individual-sized dessert.

Serving this Mason Jar Strawberry Crisp Recipe in a small mason jar is a super easy way to make sure you manage your portion sizes with dessert.  I love fruit crisps so much that if I don’t, I could sit down and eat the entire thing at one time!  I especially love that this recipe is so fast and easy to make.  With only a few simple ingredients, it is something even a novice cook can manage in minutes.

Mason Jar Strawberry Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces fresh strawberries, washed and diced
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons butter (optional)

Crisp Topping Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbs. butter, melted

Additional Materials:

  • (6-8) 4-ounce wide mouth mason jars

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well to make the crumbly topping mixture.
3. Fill each 4-ounce jelly jar all the way with diced strawberries. Gently tap down.

4. Scoop 2-3 tablespoons of crumble topping onto the top of each jar.  Repeat with all your jars.

5. Place all the jars on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes prior to serving.

  • Divide the crumble mixture between the jars of strawberries.
  • Place all the jars on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes prior to eating.
