10 Free Halloween Costume Patterns for Boys - Make a homemade Halloween costume for your little boy with one of these free patterns

One of the complaints my mom used to have about costumes for boys when my brother was little is the fact that most of the ones he wanted to go as were made of cheap plastic and were way over priced. She started making costumes for us almost right away and came up with some great ideas. One year, my brother went as a ninja and she made all the parts of his costume. Making your child’s costumes not only allows you to be extra creative, but it is often cheaper and you can usually use things you have at home to accessorize it. Here are 10 free costume patterns for boys to get you started!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
