Do you love the sweet and soothing scent of jasmine? Jasmine essential oil is a must have for all jasmine fans, as it can prove quite useful for your aromatherapy needs. Jasmine oil is one of the more rare oils, but you will find it easy to use, making it an essential oil that should be added to your oil arsenal! 7 Ways to Use Jasmine Essential Oil

Before we begin, I should note that jasmine oil does have a strong, sweet scent. If you are sensitive to strong smells, you may want to think twice about jasmine oil. The benefits however are vast, so if you like strong floral smells you may find yourself a fast fan.

You should also note that in all of the examples listed below, the jasmine oil is used externally. It is not advised that jasmine oil be ingested or used internally.

1. Soothe even the achiest of muscles.
Add a drop of jasmine essential oil to your massage lotions or a carrier oil such as almond oil to massage into sore muscles. You will find that it works deep, soothing even the sorest of muscles and helping bring some relief.

2. Improve circulation.
Get circulation moving throughout your entire body with a little boost from jasmine oil. Add a drop or two to pulse points or to your daily body lotion and apply to the skin in deep, circular motion. It can help get circulation moving and help you feel energized.

3. Soothe respiratory issues.
Suffering from a cold? A dab of jasmine oil in palms and inhaled can help with respiratory issues. If you have a common cold or chest cold, a few drops of jasmine oil can help soothe the symptoms and get you breathing easier.

4. Minimize fine lines/wrinkles.
Who wouldn’t enjoy less wrinkles and fine lines? Add a drop to your daily facial moisturizer to help soften skin and minimize fine line and wrinkles. You will also notice that jasmine oil can help lessen the oiliness of skin. Use it on the t-zone to help minimize the appearance of oily skin and the conditions that are associated with oily skin.

5. Inhale to find peace and relaxation.
Stuck in traffic? Stressed over work? Inhale a drop or two of jasmine oil to find inner peace, calm, and well being. Jasmine is wonderfully aromatic and the scent of it can help you feel more at ease. Diffuse it in the home or office to help keep a constant feeling of calm and peace.

6. Find an instant mood lift.
Apply some jasmine oil to the pulse points when you need an instant mood lift. This is a wonderful trick to try when seasonal depression kicks in or when life tends to get overwhelming. Keeping jasmine oil in the car or at work for instances such as this can really help.

7. Massage away tummy troubles.
Massage some jasmine oil into the tummy to help alleviate tummy cramps and discomfort. It can prove especially helpful during your period when the tummy tends to really act up or feel especially cramped/painful.
