Argan oil is a naturally derived oil that has many benefits to your hair and body. Get the most out of it with these 8 Simple Beauty Uses for Argan Oil.

Argan oil, also known as “liquid gold” has many diverse uses in our daily beauty routines.  By extracting the natural oils from argan tree nuts, the oil can be used for our face, body, and hair.  It is an amazing body product that really benefits your skin.  Here are just 8 Simple Beauty Uses for Argan Oil and how to get the most from it.

8 Simple Beauty Uses for Argan Oil

Exfoliator– When combined with brown sugar, argan oil becomes a dynamic exfoliator for your face and for those dry elbows, knees, and heels.  Simply mix 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with a few drops of argan oil into your hand and rub gently for a few minutes.  Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Facial Moisturizer– Since argan oil absorbs quickly, use a drop in the palm of your hand and dab on your face and neck.  It contains vitamin A and vitamin E which can help with fine wrinkles and keep your skin moisturized.

Acne– To fight acne, place a drop into your palm and dab lightly in and around your problem areas.

Leave-In Conditioner– Argan oil is a perfect leave-in conditioner.  It can help you style your hair and also repair split ends and tame your frizz.  With regular use it helps promote a healthy shine to your hair.

Razor Bumps– Just warm a drop or two of the oil in between the palm of your hands and apply to your infected area.  It can be used for men after shaving as well as for women for legs and bikini line.

Stretch Marks– The vitamin A and vitamin E in argan oil can help prevent stretch marks since it improves the elasticity of your skin.  Simply warm a few drops of the pure argan oil in your hands and massage over your hips, stomach, thighs, and any problem area.

Lip Conditioner– To help heal dry or cracked lips and to just keep them softer, use a 1-2 drops of argan oil daily or as needed.

Nails– Argan oil is so gentle and non-greasy, so try using a very small amount on each nail and rub into your nail bed.  Rinse thoroughly and continue with your manicure.  The oil can keep your cuticles soft and free of hangnails.

Natural oils are quickly becoming more popular and replacing expensive beauty creams, lotions, and also nail and hair products.  Argan oil is no exception. With it’s many uses it is proving to be a beauty cure-all!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
