Easy Ways to Increase Energy Without Caffeine- Get more energy with these caffeine alernatives. They are healthier and easily fit into your daily routine.

These easy ways to increase energy without caffeine are tried and true methods used by millions of people every day. In our fast paced society we often get caught up using caffeine laden coffee, energy drinks, or supplements to keep up. These focus on natural healthy ways to get more energy that can easily fit into your daily routine.

Easy Ways to Increase Energy Without Caffeine

Get enough sleep. This may seem like an oxymoron, but it is the number one way to increase energy. When your body feels sluggish, it is most often because you are not letting it rest appropriately. Even though our society is fast paced and going nonstop, that doesn’t mean your body can keep up the pace. Our bodies truly medically need anywhere from 7-10 hours of sleep a day to function well. From going to bed an hour earlier to taking an hour nap in the afternoon, more sleep is a great way to increase energy without caffeine.

Exercise regularly. Exercise can make a huge difference in your energy levels. Not only does it get your blood pumping and your heart rate up, it helps to improve your health. A healthier body means you will naturally have more energy.

Drink ice cold water. Ice cold water will wake you up and help you feel revitalized. You’ll also likely have to make a trip or two to the bathroom if you begin drinking a lot of extra water which gets you up and moving around which also increases energy.

Listen to upbeat music. Upbeat music can totally revamp how you feel. From changing your mood to getting your body moving, a great upbeat song can seriously increase energy levels. Go old school with funny songs from the past, or grab the latest upbeat hits and play them as loud as you can to wake you up and energize you.

Eat nutrient rich foods. What you feed your body makes a huge difference in how you feel. Increase your fruits and vegetables to give your body more of the nutrients it needs to function. When you feed your body what it needs, you are more likely to have higher levels of energy.

Skip the junk food. Much like your need for nutrient rich foods, your body does not function well on junk food alone. Skip the junk food and focus on feeding your body healthy foods. Avoid calorie and sugar laden soft drinks, and instead drink water and occasional fresh fruit juice as desired.

These easy ways to increase energy without caffeine are great for including in your daily life. These are simply to include and easy for anyone to do and see an immediate change in energy levels throughout the day.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
