Here is a simple tutorial showing you how to make Felt Donut Play Food for kids.

How to Make a Felt Donut Play Food for Kids- Here's an easy tutorial for making felt donut play food. It requires a few frugal materials and minimal sewing.

Kitchen play is fun for both girls and boys! A simple way to expand your kids’ imaginative play without breaking the bank is to make play food from felt for them to use in their toy kitchen. Get them involved in choosing what types of food to make and let them help in the process of making the felt foods.

This Felt Donut Play Food for Kids makes a fun addition to your child’s play food. The felt donuts are easy to make but do require minimal sewing. An older child might be able to help with the sewing since it just requires simple stitches with needle and thread. Your child can cut the felt, but you will need to use the hot glue gun to protect your child from getting burned.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
