This apple cider vinaigrette recipe is naturally sweetened with apple juice.
I like making homemade salad dressings because it gives me complete control over the ingredients. Many people think that making a homemade vinaigrette is hard, but nothing can be further from the truth. It only takes a few minutes. All you do is add the vinaigrette ingredients to a jar, place the lid on the jar, and then shake to combine the ingredients. Voila! Homemade vinaigrette made without preservatives or high fructose corn syrup, or any other unneeded or unhealthy ingredients.
This apple cider vinaigrette dressing recipe is easy to make and only requires 5 ingredients. It is a delicious blend of tangy and sweet without using refined sugar. It pairs well with salads containing fruit. I often serve it over my Apple Walnut Salad.
I add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the apple cider vinaigrette for flavor. If you do not have Dijon mustard, you can substitute a 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard.
