Cantaloupe Fruit Pizza- This easy fruit pizza is made with a cantaloupe "crust" and is gluten-free. It's light and fruity and sure to be a summer favorite! Here’s proof that you don’t need pizza dough (or any of the familiar savory ingredients for that matter) to make great pizza. This Cantaloupe Fruit Pizza is the perfect summer pizza pie without a carb overload. It is made a little healthier by using cantaloupe, cream cheese, agave nectar, sliced strawberries, and sugared blueberries.

This one makes for light summer dessert perfect for family barbecues or a sweet and whimsical treat for the kids. And if eating cantaloupe isn’t your thing, you can swap it out for dew melon or watermelon and use whatever you’d like for the fruit toppings. So pile on what’s ripe, juicy, and in season for a refreshingly delicious take on pizza. If you have ever eaten pizza for breakfast then you are going to love this!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
